At last night's board meeting Von Renner Elementary swept the attendance awards. Principal Cope accepted the apples for highest student attendance, highest staff attendance and lowest rate of chronic absenteeism in the district for November. Congratulations Von Renner!

The school board meeting tonight was standing room only tonight. OHS FFA students presented to the board, Supervisor DeMartini, Mayor Martina and Nurse Bernice announced WSHTF healthy choices art winners and Westside Valley High acknowledged their student of the semester.





Hunt Elementary hosted their first "Writer's Workshop, Math & Literacy Dinner" tonight. Families participated in a variety of writing activities involving math and language arts, interacted with teachers and listened to students read their writings on monthly character traits. Great job Hunt Elementary students, parents and staff!

Today, the World of Wonders Science Museum visited Bonita for a hands-on chemistry lesson! This WOW on Wheels outreach program provided science education and a whole lot of fun!


We will continue to limit time spent outdoors by students and also cancel all outdoor activities. (2/2)
