NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING SCHOOL BOND WAIVER REQUEST
BY THE Newman-Crows Landing UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given pursuant to California Education Code Section 33050 that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Education of the Newman-Crows Landing Unified School District (the “District”) at a Board meeting on April 14, 2025, at the hour of [[6:00 PM]] p.m. or as soon thereafter as convenient, located at the McConnell Adult Education Center, 1348 Patchett Drive, in Newman, California.
The purpose of said hearing is to receive public comment regarding whether the District should apply to the State Board of Education for a waiver of the 2.5% assessed valuation bonding capacity limit for the purpose of issuing voter-approved general obligation bonds for facilities improvement projects.
